Betsi just go back from the filming of America's Favorite Trail Horse, a horse competition that will end up being a reality cable TV series. Betsi and her horse were one of 100 horse/rider pairs nationally to be selected for the finals. By the smile on her face, she sure had lots of fun! If you use Facebook, you can follow them by searching her horse DeeDee (Americas favorite second chance horse). And please pass this on to any horse friends as eventually they will want lots of votes! If she and DeeDee are fortunate enough to win enough votes when the show airs this Fall, they are putting the $30K first prize to a horseback program for abused women.

American Cancer Society – Relay for Life ©

Relay For Life® is about celebration, remembrance, and hope. By participating, you honor cancer survivors, pay tribute to the lives we've lost to the disease, and raise money to help fight it all right here in your community. You won't want to miss one moment of this life- and community-affirming event!

Bill Rawson of Cardwell Distributing in Utah has taken it to a different level. He will be traveling across the country on his Harley Davidson. We at Meridian were blessed to be one of his stops!

 

“Many of you know of our partnership with the American Cancer Society. We formed this Partnership after our Founder Lowell J. Cardwell passed away in October of 2009 of Cancer. Cardwell Distributing is committed to continuing the fight against Cancer.

Beginning the first of May, I will be riding my motorcycle from Coast to Coast to help raise money for the American Cancer Society's largest fundraising event, Relay For Life. The money raised for the American Cancer Society will go to help the many victims of Cancer.
